Rob Althouse and Nancy Kenney

When Rob Althouse and Nancy Kenney began visualizing Eco Seco, they dreamed of a small neighborhood community in which to have a peaceful and supportive environment of friends and visionaries. A place where dreamers and "doers" could be empowered to put their creative possibilities into action and then go for a swim. Rob and Nancy and their daughter, Conci, are very busy folks, but they do like to collaborate and celebrate.

Nancy writes music for film, but is presently working on a film script about her New Mexico family heritage. She has been a K-University educator but now has obtained a WSI lifeguard degree so
that she can enhance her poolside "mom" image.  Nancy is Eco Seco's in-house guitarist and piano teacher. She rocks in the styles of Basia, Joni Mitchell, and Gloria Estevan.

Rob has enjoyed 18 years of house building and community designing...so much so that he plans to make a documentary about "Sprawl". The importance of good community planning is what he hopes to inspire others to do, along with teaching ecological principles. As a TV and film producer, Rob dreams of empowering the world to do everything his way - The "eco" way. Rob was recently voted by the kids in the 'hood' as "The Most Fun Dad". After all he is a trampoline star and quite the kid himself.

Conci is, on the other hand, quite grown up for a mere 11 year old. A National Dance Institute dancer, and a great comedian, Conci loves having a cool neighborhood of kids with whom to create parties and radio shows. Conci is a narrator for KidsFirst.com radio. Some call her an "Old Soul" because she has alot of patience and perspective for such a cute little kid. She plays safely in our beautiful neighborhood with friends who come on bikes for a horseback ride and a refreshing after school swim!
